Introduction

I'm a web developer working on my own startup. Recently quit my full-time job in January. My interests are PHP, RoR, Node.js, Javascript/Coffeescript, CSS3, and looking into studying machine learning.

What makes you a Brooklyn Coder?

I work part time for a startup in Park Slope, and would love to meet some fellow coders to geek out with!

What are you learning now?

I'm fairly new to RoR (about 6 months experience), but I've picked it up pretty quickly coming from a previous 5 year stint with PHP-MVC frameworks. I'm also new to node but not javascript, so it's been a pretty easy transition. I am looking into getting some textbooks to learn machine learning, which is my next goal. Also looking for cool ways to build super-responsive and fast user interfaces.
